Time Out Miami | Miami Beach
Time Out Miami finally announced the lineup at its first Miami food hall. Time Out Market will be home to concepts from Pubbelly Group founding partner Jose Mendin, pizza from Macchialina’s Michael Pirolo, Kush’s Matt Kuscher, Coyo Taco, Jugofresh’s Matthew Sherman, and Pubbelly Sushi’s pastry chef Maria Orantes, according to Time Out.
The market, at 1601 Drexel Avenue in Miami Beach, will have 17 food concepts subleased for about six months to a year. It will have indoor seating for about 400.
Cake Thai | Wynwood
Cake Thai closed its doors in Wynwood less than a year after opening.
Disagreements among the leadership, chef Phuket Thongsodchareondee and partners Ramirez and Leo Monterrey, led to the closure, according to the Miami New Times. Cake Thai leased the space from an affiliate of Tony Cho’s Metro 1, which redeveloped the retail and restaurant complex. At the time, remaining retail space in the building was asking $65 per square foot.

LaMuse Café | Downtown Miami
LaMuse Café at the Epic Hotel is adding an outdoor terrace that will seat up to 36 guests. The terrace is expected to be completed in mid-November, according to a spokesperson.
Dmitry Prut launched LaMuse Café in January 2016, as an art-inspired restaurant concept at his Avant Gallery at the Epic, at 270 Biscayne Boulevard Way in downtown Miami.
Icebox Cafe | South Florida
Icebox Cafe is expanding into The Falls, Hallandale Beach and other South Florida cities.
The Miami Beach-based restaurant recently opened in a 4,300-square-foot space at CityPlace Doral, is planning to open at Aventura ParkSquare in the spring in a 4,000-square-foot location, and secured leases for 4,100 square feet at the Falls and 2,700 square feet in Hallandale Beach.
The Hallandale outpost will feature a restaurant, greenhouse and commissary with a test kitchen, production site and company headquarters.

Louie Bossi’s Ristorante Bar and Pizzeria | Delray Beach
Louie Bossi’s Ristorante Bar and Pizzeria is planning to open in downtown Delray Beach.
The restaurant, owned by West Palm Beach-based Big Time Restaurant Group, has signed a 40-year lease with the owners of 32 East Atlantic Avenue, according to Jeff Sussman of Sussman Restaurant Brokerage.
Plans include extensive renovations to the property, and the restaurant is expected to open by the end of the summer of 2018, he said in a release.
The Delray Beach location will be Louie Bossi’s third in South Florida, including sites on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale and in downtown Boa Raton.
Sussman said he is also negotiating a fourth location in Miami.
Big Time owns other restaurants in South Florida, including Rocco’s Taco’s, City Oyster, Big City Tavern, City Cellar and Grease.
BLT Steak | Miami Beach
BLT Steak is back in South Beach. The steakhouse just opened at the Berkeley Hotel, at 1610 Collins Avenue.
The restaurant closed in May 2016 at the Betsy Hotel on Ocean Drive. Its new space seats about 150 people, including outside in a patio.
Blue Road re-opened the historic hotel after investing about $43 million into the property. Blue Road also added 32 rooms to the pre-existing 64 units, as well as a rooftop garden and swimming pool deck that overlooks Collins Avenue.
