Former furniture store may serve as classic-car storage

3705 West Commercial Boulevard in Tamarac

A former furniture showroom and distribution center in Tamarac sold for $3 million and may serve as storage for classic American cars.

AMC Furniture Liquidators formerly occupied the 30,656-square-foot office and warehouse building at 3705 West Commercial Boulevard.

AMC Resorts III, Inc. sold the Tamarac property to SLK Invest, LLC, for about $98 per square foot

“The buyer owns one of Sweden’s largest museums of classic American cars and intends to use the property to house part of his collection here in South Florida,” Keith Graves, senior vice president of real estate brokerage firm Berger Commercial Realty/Corfac International.

Graves and another senior vice president of the brokerage firm, St. George Guardabassi, represented the seller in the transaction. Jonathan Liljeback of Superior Florida Realty represented SLK Invest, LLC.

The Tamarac property is the fourth in a portfolio of six properties that AMC Furniture Liquidators has sold to consolidate its operations and relocate within the South Florida market. – Mike Seemuth
